We spent a week at Fireweed House, visiting our son who is stationed at Fort Wainwright. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The home is spotless and a very nice place to relax and spend time. The kitchen is fabulous for cooking: amazing gas stove, double oven, coffee pot, toaster, fridge with filtered water and ice maker, all excellent! Plus there's a new grill outside! We had everything we needed to make some home-cooked meals for our son. The location is very easy to find and allows you to easily walk to downtown Fairbanks. There is also a co-op grocery store in walking distance. Victoria is an excellent host, making sure we had everything we needed and more. If we get a chance to come back to Fairbanks, we would definitely stay at Fireweed House again.

This is a great place to stay! The home is sparkling clean and newly renovated. The space is great! We enjoyed having beautiful flowers left for our enjoyment, snacks and food left for us and lots of thoughtful amenities for our use. There was nothing missing! We felt like we were in a luxury place with all the bells and whistles. Would definitely stay there again, and highly recommend to others! Victoria was an awesome host! She didn’t miss a thing!

Everything that previous guests have said is accurate - the house is immaculate, stylish, comfortable and a quick walk to the downtown-area restaurants and shops. Victoria is a fantastic host! She is friendly, easy-going and a great communicator. We so appreciated her thoughtful and generous gift of a gift card to The Library, a local upscale cocktail/wine bar. A perfect AirBNB experience!

"LISTEN UP... I wish I could give this place 10 STARS! After 13 days roaming from Anchorage to Fairbanks to Chena Hot Springs and back to Fairbanks, no place we stayed can hold a match to this place!! I wish we had found this place sooner! We stayed in a suite at a local hotel when we first arrived in Fairbanks, and moved to this place last minute when we got back into town. It is hands down THE BEST airbnb we've EVER stayed (like anywhere, ever) but it absolutely sets the bar for Alaska. It's even nicer than the one we rented in Anchorage. It's so stunning and beautifully decorated all while having the comfort of being home. The host is unbelievable! I can't express how fantastic Victoria has been - SO accommodating we feel spoiled. (I'd totally ask her to come decorate my house!) We wouldn't EVER consider staying anywhere else in Fairbanks. The beds are SUPER COMFORTABLE! The internet works! Streaming TV is flawless. The shower and bathroom are FRICKIN HUGE! I never want to leave!"

The home is beautiful, modern and cozy. We had a barbecue on our second day there. The yard has everything you need including patio table and chairs. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The beds are so comfortable. The bathroom is beautiful and my favorite part was the shower. Victoria provides toiletries and they were great. I loved the shampoo and conditioner. There’s a washer and dryer in the basement and she included detergent, etc. My favorite part of the house was the kitchen. I cooked every single day I was there. I loved the coffee so much I went to the North Pole coffee brewing company to pick some up and take it home. The neighborhood is quiet. Victoria was available always accessible if we had questions or needed anything. I will be returning to visit again and hopefully the house will be available again.

The place had excellent decor (even better than the pictures), spotless clean, and it was in a nice location. The internet connection was great (we were WFH).

The host was extremely helpful and responsive, and gave us a lot of tips on activities in and around Fairbanks.

Victoria was an amazing host. I would give 10 stars if I could. Fresh flowers, beautiful amenities, and even cold flavored waters in the fridge. The beds were super comfy and the pillows were so fluffy. The outdoor furniture in the back was a really nice way to end the evenings. The soaps in the bathroom were another perfect touch. Wonderful stay.

I can’t say enough good things about the Fireweed House! Victoria was a perfect host - lots of amazing personal touches, very responsive, and suggested several awesome places to try! One of the rare occasions where the house is even better than the pictures! The king bed is insanely comfortable and the house is just gorgeous and perfect! Can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

Beautiful house, warm, toasty in -20 weather. Victoria has been very communicative, she responded very quickly when we asked for help. So far, this place has been the best airbnb in our entire Alaska trip. There is also a popular Thai restaurant called the Thai House, which is only 5min walking distance from the house. Food is amazing! I’d highly recommend this house to others!
